What data do we collect?

 

Simon Assessment LLC collects the following data:

• Personal identification information (Name, Company, Email Address)

• Responses to questions on “The Simon Assessment”. 

 

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Simon Assessment LLC with most of the data we collect, via The Simon Assessment Tool. We collect data and process data when you:

• Agree to participate in The Simon Assessment.  In most cases, an individual’s name and email address will be provided by the Team Leader.

• Voluntarily complete “The Simon Assessment”, which uses the Alchemer Tool via a secure connection and individualized link.

• Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

 

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interest – To provide aggregated insights from The Simon Assessment to improve team performance.

• Consent – For sending marketing communications.

• Contractual necessity – If you or your company purchase services from us.

 

How will we use your data?

Simon Assessment collects your data so that we can:

• Contact you via email to complete The Simon Assessment.

• Contact you either to discuss future opportunities to work together.

• Collect your responses to The Simon Assessment. All responses are anonymized before analysis—meaning names, IDs, and contact information are removed before any data processing occurs.

 

Simon Assessment LLC does not and will not share your individual responses with any third party, including your employer.

 

Your responses to The Simon Assessment will be part of the anonymized data set in The Simon Report Out or Simon Plan™.  That report out – already anonymized – will not be shared outside of your company.

When Simon Assessment processes your order – or the order from your company, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

How do we store your data? 

 

Third-Party Processing

 

The Simon Assessment uses Alchemer to collect responses via a secure connection. Once responses are collected, they are downloaded and stored on an encrypted volume, accessible only to direct employees of The Simon Assessment. 

 

The data also remains securely stored within Alchemer’s systems in accordance with their privacy policy and retention policies. We do not control Alchemer’s data retention, but we periodically review and delete stored data as necessary to comply with our privacy commitments.

 

Simon Assessment LLC retains assessment response data for up to 18 months to allow for performance tracking over time. After this period, all assessment data—except for name and contact information—is permanently deleted. Name and contact details are retained as a means to reach you for future engagements.

 

Marketing

Simon Assessment LLC may periodically send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, or those of our partner companies.

 

We will only send marketing communications if you have explicitly opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in emails or contacting us.

 

You have the right at any time to stop Simon Assessment from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the Simon Assessment Group.

 

What are your data protection rights?

Simon Assessment LLC would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access – You have the right to request Simon Assessment for copies of your personal data. We will provide your data free of charge unless the request is excessive or repetitive, in which case a reasonable fee may apply.

• The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Simon Assessment correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Simon Assessment to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

• The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Simon Assessment erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

• The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Simon Assessment restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
